Sketch N Scrap - September 1st Layout Sketch Reveal - #232 by Heather Hall

Good Morning my fellow scrapping friends!

Can you believe it's September already??

This month I chose the September 1st Reveal date @ Sketch N Scrap and I'm super excited to share with you the layout that I created!

This month I'm working with Sketch #232 by Heather Hall @ Sketch N Scrap!

I have to admit this was a super fun layout to work with this month. I think the hardest part for me was figuring out which pictures that I wanted to use as I'd already determined that I wanted to use my August 2021 "Creative" Kit from My Creative Scrapbook . The grandkids were here for an extended period of time this Summer, so I had lots of  "water" options to choose from - the creek, the back yard kiddie pool, the back yard splash pad, the Loyalsock Pool Splash Pad. . . .you get the idea. Any who - thanks for taking a peek!

Good Morning my fellow scrappy friends -

It's time for my monthly card sketch reveal @ Sketch N Scrap.

This month I'm working with Sketch #199 by Lisa Hidy @ Sketch N Scrap!

This card sketch was another super fun & easy sketch to work with, and a perfect way to use up some scrap pieces from leftover kits - this particular line was Hip Hop Horray by Simple Stories. Don't forget to upload your card creation to the blog for your chance to win a $20 Gift Certificate to the Journals For Life Shop.

Stick It Down - August 2021 Reveal - Playdate

Hello my scrappy friends - Today is reveal day @  Stick It Down

So. . .  I'm super excited to share with you my layout this month using a sketch by Laura Rumble.

For my layout, I used the Oh, Happy Day! Collection by Simple Stories. I'm almost at the point where I can say that I've successfully killed the kit, and the sketch was perfect in helping me move forward with that goal. All of the patterned paper was a piece a scrap paper remaining in the kit! Gotta love that right??  This sketch was super fun to work with, and pretty easy to convert to a smaller size! Pictures are of my grandchildren Everly and Harrison on a playdate with a friend in May of this year.

I hope you'll take on this sketch challenge - and as always, there's an Inlinkz link on the left hand side of the Stick It Down blog to upload your creations. Thanks for visiting.

Sketch N Scrap - August 1st Layout Sketch Reveal - #230 by Lisa Hidy

Good Morning my fellow scrapping friends!

Can you believe it's August already?? Seriously, what on Earth happened to July??

This month I chose the August 1st Reveal date @ Sketch N Scrap and I'm super excited to share with you the layout that I created!

This month I'm working with Sketch #230 by Lisa Hidy @ Sketch N Scrap!

This layout was super fun & easy to work with, and my whole layout came together rather quickly once I decided what papers that I wanted to use - I think I spent more time piecing the paper together (as it was a 6x6 paper pad) than I did on the whole layout. I'm pretty happy with the end results and will probably use this sketch numerous times. . . .as there are so many possibilities. I must also mention that since I am an 8-1/2 x 11 scrapper, this sketch was  super easy to resize to fit my needs!  Super plus there for sure. I used all Bella Blvd - Cooper Line  products on this layout, as well as Bazzill cardstock. Pictures are of Garrett at his Grandmother's House last Summer spending some time with two of her dogs - Slim & Bambi.

Stick It Down - July 2021 Reveal

Hello my scrappy friends - Today I have a bit of exciting news to share. . . .

I was asked to join the Stick It Down Single Page Layout Team - as you all know, I absolutely love sketches, and this challenge blog is right up my alley!

So. . .  I'm super excited to share with you my first layout using a sketch by Laura Rumble.

For my layout, I used pictures of my Granddaughter Miss Everly Claire, and our Chiweenie Rocky, but most everyone calls him Rocky Roo. I used the DCWV Playful Pets Dog Collection. As you all know, I scrap 8-1/2 x 11 and this sketch

Journaling:You have two dogs of your own – Darlah and Obie and they usually tag along with you when you come to visit us. Once you get here though, you’re all about Rocky!  Everyone loves Rocky Roo and the feelings are quite mutual.
