Sketch N Scrap - April 15th Layout Sketch Reveal - #233 By Heather Hall

This month I'm working with Sketch #223 by Heather Hall @ Sketch N Scrap! 

This sketch was super easy to work with - I just swapped out the flowers for stars and created this layout of my Grandson Harrison in the shopping cart at Food Lion. He rarely gets to go shopping without his older sister so this was a real treat for him. . . .now to decide which horn he should press first. Beep! Beep!.

Muddy Puddles - The Studio Challenges Sketch Challenge

 Welcome Scrappers & Happy Sunday! 

Welcome to another The Studio Challenges  reveal - I'm super excited to share this one with you as it's a sketch challenge and you all know how much I love me some sketches!

I absolutely love this sketch and can guarantee you that I'll be using it again! It was super easy to work with and everything just kinda fell into place. The layout showcases my now 4 year old granddaughter, Miss Everly Claire when she was visiting during the Summer of 2019. Peppa Pig was her thing, and she'd tell everyone that she had Peppa Boots for Muddy Puddles! So just like the journaling shows, when you love Peppa Pig & you have Peppa boots - you must play in the muddy puddles like she does! I even included the little quote from Mummy Pig from the actual Peppa Pig show - "If you are jumping up and down in muddly puddles, you must wear your boots."

Let's Get Sketchy - April 2021 Reveal - Play Doh Love

 

Good Morning Fellow Scrappers! 

Today is reveal day at Let's Get Sketchy and I'm super excited to show you what I've created with this months Sketch By Brenshevia!! 

As followers of my blog, you already know that  I'm an 8-1/2 x 11 scrapper, so the fun for me is taking the sketch and altering it a bit to make it fit my needs, while staying true to the original sketch . . . As you can see, this month I mirrored the sketch to once again fit my needs. . .it gave me a bit more room for my title, and allowed me to use the pictures that I had chosen for the layout. 

This layout is of my granddaughter Miss Everly Claire playing with Play Doh, one of her newer obsessions since she's discovered the tools that go along with it - thanks to her pre-school for introducing her to the "tools" as her play doh game has now reached a whole new level.

Sketch #463 by Brenda Ragsdale @ Sketches in Thyme

 Welcome to April 2021!! 

So....it's a new month of Sketches @ Sketches in Thyme, and I get to start the month off with Sketch #463 created by the very talented Brenda Ragsdale. 

 And here is my take on the sketch - As you know I scrap 8-1/2 x 11 and flipping the sketch worked better for me with this particular layout. I tried to include all of the provided elements, and then added a few more of my own. This layout showcases everyones relationship goals - 62 years of marriage and counting. My inlaws are beautiful both inside and out and I appreciate their influence on my son. . . Journaling reads - Relationship Goals for sure!  Happy Anniversary to this beautiful Couple  . . . 62 years and still going strong! Pappy, Garrett & Nanny August 23^rd, 2020 – Johnson’s Café
