Stick It Down - October 2021 Single Page Reveal - Feel Better Little Man

Hello my scrappy friends - Today is reveal day for me @  Stick It Down

So. . .  I'm super excited to share with you my layout this month using another sketch by Laura Rumble.
The sketch focuses on hexagons, and I have to admit, I haven't used shapes (other than squares) on my layouts in a really long time. . . Once I picked my papers, the layout came together pretty quickly!

I chose to scrap a layout of my grandson Harrison with pictures taken just last week. He had (still has some lingering symptoms) his very first really bad cold with coughing, congestion, high fevers,  and rattling in his chest! It really did break this Nana's heart to see him sooooo miserable.
I'm super glad he's feeling better!

Sketch N Scrap - October 1st, 2021 Layout Sketch Reveal - Sketch #234 by Stacy Daubenberger

Good Morning my fellow scrapping friends!

Can you believe it's October already??

This month I chose the October 1st Reveal date @ Sketch N Scrap and I'm super excited to share with you the layout that I created!

This month I'm working with Sketch #234 by Stacy Daubenberger

I have to admit that I'm a huge fan of Stacy's sketches and I always look forward to creating with them. This sketch was super fun to create with & actually worked better for me once I flipped it.
It just seemed to work better with my smaller scrapping size.

This is another layout using pictures from this Summer when the grandkids were visiting. This particular day we spent it on the lake. Many firsts on this day for Miss Everly.
Journaling reads -

Everly enjoying so many “firsts” on the lake today – she’ll even tell you that it was one of her “best days ever”! We absolutely love seeing her smile with pure happiness!

Stick It Down - September 2021 Single Page Reveal - Everly

Hello my scrappy friends - Today is reveal day for me @  Stick It Down

So. . .  I'm super excited to share with you my layout this month using a sketch by Laura Rumble. The sketch required us to use an acrostic poem and I have to admit that in all of my scrapbooking years, I have never done this before. It definitely was super fun, and I'm pretty pleased with my layout!

I chose to scrap a layout of my granddaughter Miss Everly Claire, and used the letters in her first  name for my journaling.

E is for Electrifying, the way you charge the room

V is for Vivacious, you bring color to my life

E is for Exciting, you're so full of joy.

R is for Rose, more beautiful as it unfolds

L is for Laughter, nothing is as infectious as yours

Y is for Yes, we love you  every day. Every. Single. Day.

I hope you'll take on this sketch challenge - and as always, there's an Inlinkz link on the left hand side of the Stick It Down blog to upload your creations. Thanks for visiting.

Sketch N Scrap - September 1st Layout Sketch Reveal - #232 by Heather Hall

Good Morning my fellow scrapping friends!

Can you believe it's September already??

This month I chose the September 1st Reveal date @ Sketch N Scrap and I'm super excited to share with you the layout that I created!

This month I'm working with Sketch #232 by Heather Hall @ Sketch N Scrap

I have to admit this was a super fun layout to work with this month. I think the hardest part for me was figuring out which pictures that I wanted to use as I'd already determined that I wanted to use my August 2021 "Creative" Kit from My Creative Scrapbook . The grandkids were here for an extended period of time this Summer, so I had lots of  "water" options to choose from - the creek, the back yard kiddie pool, the back yard splash pad, the Loyalsock Pool Splash Pad. . . .you get the idea. Any who - thanks for taking a peek!
