Sketch N Scrap - February 1st, 2022 Reveal - Sketch # 242 by Lisa Hidy

                               Good morning my fellow scrapping friends! 

Can you believe it's February already??

Today is February 1st and that means it's REVEAL DAY @ Sketch N Scrap and I'm super excited to share with you the layout that I created! 

This month I'm working with Sketch #242 by Lisa Hidy

Another fun sketch to work with this month. It was super easy to convert to my smaller scrapping size, and definitely a sketch that I'll be able to use over and over again. Layout is of my Grandkids - Everly & Harrison at one of our local parks - there are several playgrounds here, a duck pond, and if truth be told - several pokestops as well.

Your mom decided to let you two get out and play today as the weather was absolutely gorgeous.  Once out of your car seats, you two were literally gone – immediately running to the playground as fast as your little legs could carry you! Run free kiddos. . . run free!

Sketch N Scrap - January 15th Sketch #241 by Heather Hall - Layout Reveal

  Good morning my fellow scrapping friends - 

It's time again for my monthly sketch reveal @ Sketch N Scrap. 

For today's reveal I'm working with Sketch #241 by Heather Hall @ Sketch N Scrap! 

This sketch was a lot of fun to work with - once I determined the papers and pictures that I wanted to use, I went to work resizing everything to fit my 8-1/2 x 11 needs. . . I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out, and even happier that I was able to use mostly scrap pieces on this one (I admit I taped pieces of patterned paper together).

Stick It Down - January 2022 Single Page Sketch Reveal - Beautiful Dancer

    Hello my scrappy friends - Today is reveal day for me @  Stick It Down 

So. . .  I'm super excited to share with you my layout this month using another sketch by Laura Rumble. 

I chose to scrap these two pictures of my Granddaughter Everly taken during one of her Holiday Performances this year. As a grandmother, you hate missing these types of things, but luckily, they understand when you can't be there (sadly we live a couple of states away). Thank goodness my daughter shares in the "need" to photograph things . . . The sketch was a tough one for me this month, and I have to admit that the layout you see now WAS NOT the way I was originally going with it. I just couldn't make it work for me. . . once I found this cut file though, it all came together really, really quickly.

Rocky absolutely loves it when Jackie and the kids come for a visit. When Grandpa Shawn leaves for work he immediately goes to their room, climbs up in bed with them and goes right back to sleep, unless they’re already awake. Then there’s lots of extra cuddles to be had!
