August 2020 - TV Games Shows @ Cookin' Up Creations

Game Shows - admit it, we've all watched them at some point in our lives. . .well, have you ever wanted to actually be on a game show? What game show would it be? Are you a "couch" participant"?? Spill it, you can tell us!

For over seven decades now,  people have been spending countless hours in front of the "boob-tube" watching contestants perform everything from physical feats to cerebral calisthenics . . . all in the name of winning that big cash prize at the end, or that dream vacation, or better yet, that new car.

Come on down & join us all month long in August as we celebrate game shows with YOU! All challenges will be based on specific Game Shows. And as always, the more challenges you complete, the better your chances are to win that "ULTIMATE" prize at the end. Deal, or no deal?

A new Blue Plate Special challenge will be posted every Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. All participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations.

Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....

Sketch N Scrap Card Sketch # 174

Good Morning Ladies -

It's that time again . . . .time for another reveal @ Sketch N Scrap

Today I'm sharing with you my take on Card Sketch #174 by Sketch Artist Heather Hall at Sketch N Scrap

I created this card using the Jen Hadfield Hey! Hello! Line with lots of fussy cutting. I'm not really much of a card maker, but quickly trying to remedy that, and Heather's Sketch made it super easy!

Sketch N Scrap Sketch #205 by Heather Hall -

Good Morning Ladies -

I'm super excited to share with you my very first layout as a Design Team Member @ Sketch N Scrap!

Today I'm sharing with you my take on Sketch #205 by Sketch Artist Heather Hall at Sketch N Scrap

I created this 8-1/2 x 11 layout using the
Simple Stories - Oh, Happy Day! Collection. I altered the sketch just a bit to fit my "smaller size" needs, and think it came out perfect. The layout is of my beautiful grandbabies,
Everly and Harrison. . . Harrison worships his
older  sister, and I've got a feeling he's going
to be learning a lot from her. They're already so
very much alike at such an early age . . . hence my title.

New Month - New Sketch

Good Morning Ladies -

It's a New Month, which means a new Sketch is up @ Sketches in Thyme. My layout today was inspired by Sketch #427 by the talented Nadine Carlier.

The layout is 8-1/2 x 11 in size, and showcases my beautiful grandbabies - Everly Claire & Harrison Grant! I always find it a great challenge converting the sketches to a smaller size, yet still keeping true to the sketch! Thanks for taking a peek!!
