The Studio Challenges - New Life

Welcome Scrappers & Happy Sunday!

Spring is definitely upon us here in Pennsylvania!! I've already been outside a few times today just walking around the yard and making plans . . . checking out all of the blooms and plants peeking through the ground too.

Todays challenge @ The Studio Challenges blog focuses on "New Life"!

What better way to focus on New Life, than a layout of a New Birth. This layout is of my Grandson Harrison Grant on the day that he was born - with a cute little play on words - HAPPY BIRTH DAY!

The Studio Challenges - Colour Tic Tac Toe

Welcome Scrappers & Happy Sunday! I hope each of you are enjoying the remainder of your weekend. I'm currently trying to stay warm as it's still super cold and windy here in the Keystone State . . . did I mention that I have a "Spring Countdown" posted at work, and I can't wait to update it tomorrow!

Today I'm going to be sharing with you the first challenge of March on The Studio Challenges blog!

As you can see, I opted for the diagonal row of Teal, Orange and Light Blue. This Scenic Route Metropolis Line from 2006 was absolutely perfect for this challenge. Hard to believe I've been hoarding this line for soooooo long, but what can I say other than I JUST LOVE IT!! As for the layout itself, I kept the embellishments down to a minimum as the papers are a bit busy on their own, and I didn't want to add to that. . . Not to mention, this line was back in the day before manufacturers started creating the ephemera packs to match their paper lines.

Let's Get Sketchy - March 2021 Reveal - Let it Snow

Good Morning Fellow Scrappers!

Today is reveal day at Let's Get Sketchy and I'm super excited to show you what I've created with this months Sketch By Brenshevia!!

Please make sure to take a peek at all of the other Design Team Members creations!

As most of you know already, I'm an 8-1/2 x 11 scrapper, so the fun for me is taking the sketch and altering it a bit to make it fit my needs, while staying true to the original sketch . . . I'm totally lovin' this sketch this month, and can assure you I'll be using it again in the future!

This layout is of my granddaughter Miss Everly Claire playing in the snow before heading off to pre-school that day. She was super excited as she's usually visiting Pennsylvania when it snows, but has yet to experience it in Viriginia. . .until that day. So much happiness behind that smile.  *pink background paper is for photographing purposes only.

Journaling  -
Newport News, Virginia got its firstsnowfall this morning not a huge accumulation, but just enough for Everly to enjoy a little snow play outdoors before heading off to pre-school for the day.

Sketch N Scrap March 1st Reveal Using Sketch # 220 by Heather Hall

Good Morning Blog Followers & Visitors!

Today is Reveal Day at Sketch N Scrap

and I'll be sharing with you my take on Sketch # 220 by the
very talented sketch designer Heather Hall.

Since I scrap 8-1/2 x 11, this sketch was pretty easy to work with - there wasn't a whole lot of adjustments needed. I have to admit, I was pretty excited to work with this sketch when I first saw it!  Hope you like my take on the sketch.

Layout is of my Grandson Harrison taking a nap in the middle of the afternoon. His sister Everly tends to wake him up all the time and he never gets a really good nap in. When he gets to sleep for longer than 15-20 minutes, it's kind of a big deal for everyone involved. Papers were perfect for these pictures, and the cut file worked great too!
Sweet Dreams Little Man.

Thanks for Visiting!
