you what I've created with this months Sketch By Brenshevia!! 

This layout, titled Lake Life showcases my son Garrett from this previous Summer. We wound up going to the lake a couple of times, and he thoroughly enjoyed himself (he was definitely in his element) . . .fun filled days every trip, from driving the boat, tubing & jet skiing. I'd definitely recommend Bald Eagle State Park to anyone that wants to get outdoors and enjoy some family time!

Today is reveal day at

 Let's Get Sketchy and I'm super excited to show 

you what I've created with this months Sketch By Brenshevia!! 

This layout, titled All This Happiness showcases my Grandbabies - Everly & Harrison playing outside in the snow & mud puddles. Where they live in Virginia they don't get much snow, and on this particular rare occasion when it did snow,  it was melting as quickly as it was coming down. . . .but hey, it's snow, so that means pictures for Nana, and getting to play outside in the cold. . . Of course they both had a blast! 

I loved working with this sketch because it was super easy to convert to my 8-1/2 x 11 needs! I'm sure I'll be using it again soon! 

Journaling reads - 

Everly and Harrison enjoying a rare occurrence where they live in Virginia – Snow! The snow was melting as quickly as it appeared, but that didn’t stop them from going outside and having a bit of fun.

Let's Get Sketchy - April 2021 Reveal - Play Doh Love

 

Good Morning Fellow Scrappers! 

Today is reveal day at Let's Get Sketchy and I'm super excited to show you what I've created with this months Sketch By Brenshevia!! 

As followers of my blog, you already know that  I'm an 8-1/2 x 11 scrapper, so the fun for me is taking the sketch and altering it a bit to make it fit my needs, while staying true to the original sketch . . . As you can see, this month I mirrored the sketch to once again fit my needs. . .it gave me a bit more room for my title, and allowed me to use the pictures that I had chosen for the layout. 

This layout is of my granddaughter Miss Everly Claire playing with Play Doh, one of her newer obsessions since she's discovered the tools that go along with it - thanks to her pre-school for introducing her to the "tools" as her play doh game has now reached a whole new level.

Let's Get Sketchy - March 2021 Reveal - Let it Snow

This layout is of my granddaughter Miss Everly Claire playing in the snow before heading off to pre-school that day. She was super excited as she's usually visiting Pennsylvania when it snows, but has yet to experience it in Viriginia. . .until that day. So much happiness behind that smile.  *pink background paper is for photographing purposes only.

Newport News, Virginia got its firstsnowfall this morning – not a huge accumulation, but just enough for Everly to enjoy a little snow play outdoors before heading off to pre-school for the day.

Let's Get Sketchy - January 2021 Reveal - Who's a Good Boy?

Happy New Year Everyone!! 

Today is my first reveal as a Let's Get Sketchy Design Team Member and I'm super excited to show you what I've created with the Sketch By Brenshevia!! Please make sure to take a peek at all of the other Design Team Members and their creations tool! 

There's lots of talent in this group of ladies! 

As most of you know already, I'm an 8-1/2 x 11 scrapper, so the fun for me is taking the sketch and altering it a bit to make it fit my needs, while staying true to the original sketch . . . I'm totally lovin' this sketch this month, and can assure you I'll be using it again in the future!
The layout is of my son Garrett, and our chi-weenie Rocky. Every single day, numerous times a day, either he is saying "who's a good dog?" or my husband is. . . heck, I even catch myself saying it from time to time! And if truth be told, he really is a good boy!

December Guest Designer @ Let's Get Sketchy

So back in October I stumbled across the Let's Get Sketchy Blog, and have been doing the monthly sketch challenge ever since then (only 2 so far, but hey. . . I did just discover it) . . . any who, this month I was asked to be a Guest Designer for the month of December,.

 Needless to say, I was super excited! Here's the Sketch that I got to work with . . .
