Let's Get Sketchy - April 2022 Reveal - All This Happiness

                     Hello. Hello. Hello

Welcome to April my Scrappy Friends!

Today is reveal day at
Let's Get Sketchy and I'm super excited to show
you what I've created with this months Sketch By Brenshevia!!

This layout, titled All This Happiness showcases my Grandbabies - Everly & Harrison playing outside in the snow & mud puddles. Where they live in Virginia they don't get much snow, and on this particular rare occasion when it did snow,  it was melting as quickly as it was coming down. . . .but hey, it's snow, so that means pictures for Nana, and getting to play outside in the cold. . . Of course they both had a blast!
I loved working with this sketch because it was super easy to convert to my 8-1/2 x 11 needs! I'm sure I'll be using it again soon!

Journaling reads -
Everly and Harrison enjoying a rare occurrence where they live in Virginia Snow! The snow was melting as quickly as it appeared, but that didn’t stop them from going outside and having a bit of fun.

Sketch N Scrap - March 15th, 2022 Reveal - Sketch #245 by Lisa Hidy

Good Morning my fellow scrapping friends -

It's time for the March 15th Sketch Reveal @ Sketch N Scrap.

Today I'm working with Sketch #245 by Lisa Hidy @ Sketch N Scrap

This sketch was super easy to work with and I've already started another layout using the exact same sketch. I know I always seem to say this, but . . . this particular sketch really was super easy to convert to my 8-1/2 x 11 needs.

This particular layout is of my Granddaughter Everly when she was here visiting this past Summer. This was her very first trip to an Amusement Park, and her very first Funnel Cake as well. So after a very long & hot day. . . a funnel cake was definitely a much welcomed treat, right before the meltdown took place (as she didn't want to leave).

Journaling reads -

There’s no better way to end a Family Day at your first
Amusement Park than with your First Funnel Cake!

Stick It Down - March 2022 Single Page Sketch Reveal - That Shirt Though . . .

Hello my scrappy friends - Today is reveal day for me @  Stick It Down

So. . .  I'm super excited to share with you my layout this month using another sketch by the very talented Laura Rumble. I always start out a bit intimidated by the sketch, but ultimately wind up loving my layout and the sketch - this time was no exception!

I chose to scrap a picture of my son Garrett for this particular sketch. Pictures are getting harder and harder to come by these days, so I definitely snag them when I can.

I opted not to use tags on this as I don't really have any in my stash, and I was already over fighting with my silhouette cameo from trying to cut my title. . .the stress just wasn't worth it to me.

Journaling reads -

Only you would decide to wear the same shirt to school on the very first day of every semester.

Today marked the sixth consecutive “first day” . . .and the shirt is still going strong. Only two more

semesters to go, and let’s not forget about those matching socks.

I hope you'll take on this sketch challenge - and as always, there's an Inlinkz link on the left hand side of the Stick It Down blog to upload your creations to. Thanks for visiting.
