Sketch N Scrap - April 15th, 2022 Reveal - Sketch #247 by Heather Hall

                Good morning my fellow scrapping friends - 

It's time for the April 15th Sketch Reveal @ Sketch N Scrap. 

Today I'm working with Sketch #247 by Heather Hall @ Sketch N Scrap! 

This particular sketch was super intimidating to me. I still can't really put my finger on the "why" just yet, but either way, my layout is finished! 

Woot! Woot! I actually do love my finished layout too, especially the super cute apple that a fellow scrapbooking friend made for me. The sketch was easy to convert to my 8-1/2 x 11 needs, but I just wanted to use way tooooo many pictures.

The layout is of my son Garrett this past fall when we visited the apple orchard to pick apples - they actually had "apple slinging" that you could take part in. We'd never heard of such a thing before, but definitely wanted to give it a try! We were even able to convince the Grandparents to do it too! Garrett was definitely in his element. . .

I’m not even sure how much money we spent today slinging apples but it was worth every single penny! You definitely enjoyed yourself . . .and so did Nanny & Pappy once we convinced them to give it a try too!

Sketch N Scrap - February 15th, 2022 Reveal - Sketch #243 by Heather Hall

  Good Morning my fellow scrapping friends - 

It's time for the February 15th sketch reveal @ Sketch N Scrap. 

Today I'm working with Sketch #243 by Heather Hall @ Sketch N Scrap! 

This sketch was super easy to work with - I knew I wanted to use these pictures, but since I already had them printed, I was only able to cut them so small . . . 

Sizing is a bit off due to the picture size, but all in all I think it came together quite nicely. 

I loved being able to use "typical girl" colors on this page.

This is definitely a sketch I'd use again as it's easily convertible to my 8-1/2 x 11 needs.

Sketch N Scrap - January 15th Sketch #241 by Heather Hall - Layout Reveal

  Good morning my fellow scrapping friends - 

It's time again for my monthly sketch reveal @ Sketch N Scrap. 

For today's reveal I'm working with Sketch #241 by Heather Hall @ Sketch N Scrap! 

This sketch was a lot of fun to work with - once I determined the papers and pictures that I wanted to use, I went to work resizing everything to fit my 8-1/2 x 11 needs. . . I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out, and even happier that I was able to use mostly scrap pieces on this one (I admit I taped pieces of patterned paper together).

Sketch N Scrap - September 1st Layout Sketch Reveal - #232 by Heather Hall

Can you believe it's September already??

This month I chose the September 1st Reveal date @ Sketch N Scrap and I'm super excited to share with you the layout that I created! 

This month I'm working with Sketch #232 by Heather Hall @ Sketch N Scrap! 

I have to admit this was a super fun layout to work with this month. I think the hardest part for me was figuring out which pictures that I wanted to use as I'd already determined that I wanted to use my August 2021 "Creative" Kit from My Creative Scrapbook . The grandkids were here for an extended period of time this Summer, so I had lots of  "water" options to choose from - the creek, the back yard kiddie pool, the back yard splash pad, the Loyalsock Pool Splash Pad. . . .you get the idea. Good morning Everyone. . .

It's time for the January 15th Sketch Reveal @ Sketch N Scrap 

and my take on it! It's a super fun sketch with lots of squares and pop dots . . .

Today I'm sharing with you my take on Sketch #217 by the very talented

 Heather Hall at Sketch N Scrap! 

First off, I absolutely love this sketch, and will definitely be using it again. My 8-1/2 x 11 layout of Everly is of pictures taken while she was visiting Pennsylvania in June of 2019 right before she became a big sister that July. We were at Reptiland feeding the birds at Parakeet Landing. When she came for a visit the past Summer she requested that we go back as she remembered going to feed those same birds & seeing the dinosaurs the previous year. Crazy how much they remember at such an early age. . .Thanks for stopping by.
