Thursday.

So today started out like any other typical day.....get up, go to work....that same drill. I left Shawn this morning a tad bit sad, thinking that he'd be leaving shortly after I left for work. But God must've been thinking about me today, as things kinda ran behind for Shawn and the guy he was riding with to Georgia, so by lunchtime, he was still here....yea!! I got to see Shawn once more before he left. He even made my lunch for me....nice and warm and waiting on me when I walked in the door...God I love that man! So we spent a very nice lunch together today, and I got some extra time with him. He even left me a note when he left today. How sweet was that?

After work today, I picked up Garrett and we came on home. Did the typical homework routine, and then left and met Jackie and Daniel for dinner at Chili's. It was a really nice dinner, as in the company was great, but the food was okay, not one of my better meals there, and the service totally sucked. And of course with Jackie being a waitress she was getting a little more tiffed than the rest of us...but all in all it turned out fine, and Daniel even wound up with a free dessert that he wound up eating in front of us....

I even had Jackie try to take a few pictures of Garrett and I, but for some reason, today was just one of those days when not a single picture came out right....very funny actually. So funny, that I'd thought I'd share them with you....we could never have enough laughter right??





I've talked to Shawn a few times this evening since he's arrived in Georgia. Now I'm sitting here just waiting for my good night phone call....this is gonna be a long ten days....but of course, that free time will allow me to have time to do other things....like scrapbooking, scrapbooking, and then some more scrapbooking....right? LOL
