Sketch # 451 by Shawn Lahr @ Sketches in Thyme

Happy New Year & Welcome to January 2021!!

So....it's a new month of Sketches @ Sketches in Thyme, and I get to start the month off with Sketch #451 created by the talented Shawn Lahr.

And here is my take on the sketch - 8-1/2 x 11 of course. An adorable layout of my grandson Harrison Grant on his first birthday this year. He was supposed to be celebrating his birthday with me in Pennsylvania, but the trip got delayed by a few days instead. Since it was his "First" birthday and no one wanted the day to go undocumented, there was a mad dash to the store for a cake . . .and when there is no "smash" cake, you get the "whole" cake.

Sketch N Scrap - December 2020 Sketch # 215 by Lisa Hidy / Sister For Trade

  Good Morning -

It's that time ladies . . . .time for my December monthly sketch reveal @ Sketch N Scrap.

Today I'm sharing with you my take on Sketch #215 by the very talented Lisa Hidy at Sketch N Scrap!

I created this layout of my beautiful grandbabies - Everly Claire and Harrison Grant. It initially started out as a "First Easter" page (as it technically was), but since it also included a picture with Everly in it, I decided to change it up a bit . . .the title is perfect, as he absolutely adores his sister, but there are days when she literally cannot tolerate him, and is a bit "not nice" to him. They definitely add new meaning to the phrase - sibling rivalry.

I of course had to change the sketch up a bit to fit my 8-1/2 x 11 needs and used an older line of Bella Blvd Papers - Sweet Sweet Spring.

Sketch N Scrap - November 2020 - Layout #212 by Lisa Hidy / Artist for Hire

 Good Morning Ladies -

It's that time again . . . .time for another monthly reveal @ Sketch N Scrap

Today I'm sharing with you my take on Sketch #212 by the very talented Lisa Hidy at Sketch N Scrap -

I created this layout of my beautiful granddaughter Miss Everly Claire. Pictures are from her visit with us earlier this Summer. She always needs to be outside, and playing with sidewalk chalk is her thing. . .drawing on the sidewalk, on the back deck, and sometimes even on the house walls . . .heck it washes away right??

I'm an 8-1/2 x 11 scrapper, so I adjusted the sketch to fit my needs and used a very old line of Basic Grey Papers - the line is called Lemonade. I thought it fit the pictures perfectly. Don't you agree??

with the first sketch of the month. . .

I'm super excited to share with you the first
sketch in October - Sketch #439 created by the
talented designer Laura Rumble!

. . . and this is my 8-1/2 x 11 take on the sketch above. The layout is  of my granddaughter, Miss Everly Claire practicing a bit of patience while trying to get the parakeets to eat from her seed sticks @ Clyde Peeling's Reptiland this Summer.
